Construction Team Member - Lincoln, Omaha
The Midwest Petroleum Equipment team is expanding and is seeking a professional and reliable person to serve as a construction installer. MPE is a leader in the petroleum equipment service and construction industry and is seeking candidates who want to work in a team environment with professional growth opportunities.
Responsibilities:
o Assist in installing and testing petroleum tanks, piping and other equipment
o Assist in removal and disposal of old petroleum equipment
o Follow safety procedures on each job
o Operate various power tools, skid loaders, air compressors, forklifts, and other related tools and equipment in performing described duties
o Traveling to out of town job sites and working outdoors
Education and Qualifications:
• Be at least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or GED. Additional training and certification provided.
• Experience in a construction related field preferred, but not required
• Ability to perform manual construction work and equipment operations
• Ability to work out of town and overnights
• Valid and clean driver’s license.
• Able to pass background check and drug screening.
Hours:
• This is a full-time position working Monday-Friday, Rotating on call nights and weekends and Overtime available if desired.

Petroleum Service Technician (Experienced) - Omaha
Location: Omaha (or willing to relocate within 25 miles)
Pay Range:
- Commensurate with experience
- Sign on bonuses available for current licensed technicians (Gilbarco or Wayne)
- Moving Expense allowance provided (if applicable)
The Midwest Petroleum Equipment team is expanding and is seeking a professional and reliable person to serve as a Petroleum Service Technician. The Petroleum Service Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing and service of automotive, electronic, hydraulic and/or mechanical petroleum equipment and products (i.e. Gilbarco, Veeder-Root, Passport, EVO) as applicable. Candidates that have a strong mechanical and/or electrical aptitude with experience working on motors, pumps, etc. are encouraged to apply. Candidates must be self-starters that can operate independently with minimal supervision.

- Troubleshoots, performs repairs and preventative maintenance on gasoline dispensers and related equipment.
- Installs, troubleshoots and maintains Point of Sale (POS) equipment.
- Monitors and is accountable for accuracy of parts inventory
- Analyzes electronic and mechanical problems and provide repairs as required.
- Installs, programs and tests new equipment
- Communicate with customers and explain technical issues to non-technical people.
- Present yourself professionally and be prompt when making service calls.
Education and Qualifications:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or GED. Additional training and certification provided.
- One to three years-experience in mechanical, electrical, plumbing or HVAC service
- Valid and clean driver’s license.
- Able to pass background check and drug screening.
Technical Requirements:
- Basic electrical knowledge and mechanical abilities preferred
- Experience with Project or Inventory Management software preferred
- Ability to operate mechanical equipment and machines as described
General:
- Sound integrity and professional ethics
- Ability to build relationships with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and employees
- Ability to multitask, prioritize and complete projects on time

This position will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing and service of electrical, electronic, hydraulic and/or mechanical petroleum equipment and products (i.e. Gilbarco, Veeder-Root, Passport, EVO) as applicable. Candidates must be self-starters that can operate independently with minimal supervision as this position will be based in Omaha, NE.
